Lancaster Insurance champions new classic car theatre production

06 March 2026

Lancaster Insurance has announced its support for Bridge Classic Cars’ new Theatre in Education school tour, helping bring free live performances, storytelling and hands on learning to primary schools across Suffolk.

Launching in April, the initiative introduces pupils to The Story of Rilee, an original production created by Bridge Classic Cars Kids. The show follows Rilee, a 1905 classic car brought back to life, and uses theatre to explore history, engineering, innovation and sustainability to inspire young learners.

The performance is followed by curriculum linked workshops covering history, design and technology, problem solving and environmental responsibility.

This project aligns strongly with our own sustainability commitments and our belief that businesses should play an active role in supporting education and the communities we serve.”

Craig Ranson, Managing Director of Bridge Classic Cars added: “We wanted to create something that genuinely excites children while still delivering real educational value. Theatre is a powerful way to connect with young audiences, and Rilee gives us a friendly, engaging way to talk about history, innovation and the choices we make about the future. We thank Lancaster Insurance for their donation which has allowed us to make this possible.”
